Today, we're joined by Louis Daniel Binette, Facebook Ads Account Director at J7 Media, who gives us his advice on being a Facebook Ads Media Buyer. 

1/ KEEP YOUR COOL: The Media Buyer needs to be able to stand back and not let their emotions get the better of them, especially when it comes to increasing campaign budgets or making tough decisions.

2/ BE PROACTIVE: You're on a platform that can take your campaign from "good" to "horrible" in a matter of days. Did you plan for this? Did you run tests in case your campaign needs new ads urgently? Your results can always take a few hits, but only if you want them to.

3/ METRICS: In your career as a Media Buyer, you will come across clients or superiors who don't understand the numbers, who will push you in the wrong direction, and in the end, no matter what you tell yourself, the bad results will be your fault. You need to know your numbers better than the person you're working with, and above all, you need to be able to explain them intelligibly.
