In January 2021, I had the chance to interview Etienne M.rineau, Co-founder of the conversational chatbot cmpany Heyday. At the time of our interview, Etienne shared that the company was in the process of raising a new round of funding in order to tackle the US market head on and significantly increase their footprint in the US.
Well, 6 months can change a lot of things for a company because recently, Etienne and his 3 other business partners’ company was acquired by the giant Hootsuite for the sum of 60 million dollars.
Another important thing to mention is that Heyday was founded in 2017, which means that Etienne and his team managed to impeccably execute their plans. Selling their company after only 4 years is truly exceptional! Etienne tells us about it in a series of fascinating anecdotes.
