Starting a business often comes from a problem that we experience or that someone close to us experiences in his or her daily life.
We identify the issue, and then we try to create solutions, and if the solution is good enough, we can make it a viable business.
Today’s guest, Allison Green, President and Founder of the organization Bien Chez Soi, is no exception to the rule.
While her grandfather was scheduled to go to a nursing home at the time, Allison refused, clearly believing that there could be a better option for her grandparents, and for any other senior for that matter.
In 2008, her organization was born.
14 years later, she has 40 franchises across the province and has even launched a new organization, "Les maisons adaptées", a concept that also stems from a problem she saw within the market.
